法门寺(Famen Temple)位于炎帝故里、青铜器之乡——宝鸡市，2004年被联合国教科文组织评为“世界第九大奇迹”， 地处陕西省宝鸡市扶风县法门镇。始建于东汉末年恒灵年间，至今约有1700多年历史，有“关中塔庙始祖”之称，周魏以前称作“阿育王寺”，隋文帝时改称“成实道场”，唐高祖时改名“法门寺”。法门寺被誉为皇家寺庙，因安置释迦牟尼佛指骨舍利而成为举国仰望的佛教圣地。法门寺佛塔被誉为“护国真身宝塔”。
宝鸡法门寺地宫其出土了释迦牟尼佛指骨舍利、铜浮屠、八重宝函、银花双轮十二环锡杖等佛教至高宝物，法门寺珍宝馆拥有出土于法门寺地宫的两千多件大唐国宝重器，为世界寺庙之最。
法门寺的主要观看的建筑
真身宝塔 真身宝塔因塔下藏有佛祖真身舍利而得名，初为“圣冢”，唐代建四级木塔，明代改建砖塔。此塔见于典籍记载，均称其为“古塔四层”、“木塔四层”，金人称其“三级风檐压鲁地，九盘轮相壮秦川”。塔内还修建了平台供游人登高眺望。
法门寺地宫 法门寺唐代地宫于1987年发现，是世界上发现时代最久远、规模最大、等级最高的佛塔地宫。地宫所保存的大批文物，不仅等级高，品种多，有的甚至完好如初。是研究唐代政治、经济、文化、宗教等多种学科提供了实物证据，对中国文化史和世界文化史都具有重要的意义。法门寺地宫文物代表了唐文化的金字塔尖。
法门寺佛学院 法门寺佛学院是西北地区唯一一所汉传佛教高等院校，2004年11月在方丈学诚法师主持下筹建运行。
法门寺博物馆 法门寺博物馆又称法门寺珍宝馆，陈列大厅设在珍宝阁二、三层内。设有陈列《法门寺出土文物展》，展出文物160多件，全部是地宫出土的文物精品，为唐皇室文物精华的集群性陈列，另外还在地宫设有《地宫珍宝展》。
法门寺合十舍利塔 法门寺合十舍利塔始建于2004年，由台湾著名建筑设计大师李祖原策划设计。塔高148米，呈双手合十状，中间有安放佛指舍利的宝塔型建筑，塔内供奉着举世闻名的佛祖释迦牟尼真身舍利。
佛光大道 佛光大道长1230米，宽108米，1代表这里供奉着世界上唯一释迦摩尼指骨舍利，2代表新旧两座宝塔，3就是代表佛法僧三宝的设计规划，而0就是万物一切所有的众生。而108呢，比如说法师手持的念珠就是108颗，每拨去一颗佛珠就代表看破放下一种烦恼。远远望去，直通合十舍利塔，是众生不断攀登，不断升华的过程。佛光大道分为主道和辅道。主道上陈列的是十尊菩萨和经幢。两边黄色柱状体的就是佛教的圣物经幢，佛经经常可于其上，象征着佛法的智慧能够降服一切烦恼。
